Today's Find of the Day is an awesome book: The Art of Disney•Pixar Inside Out Book!

What it is: This book is a stunningly beautiful look at the brilliant art of the Disney•Pixar movie, Inside Out.

What it Costs: $40.00 plus shipping and tax from the Disney Store.

How to Get it: It is available from the Disney Store here. However, if you're an Amazon Prime member, it is available from Amazon for $29.04 here. It looks like Barnes and Noble also has it for $29.04 here. If you're a member at B&N you should be able to get an additional 10% off as well.

Who it's For: Everyone who loves Pixar, loves art, loves Inside Out, or just loves things that are beautiful.

Why it's a Find of the Day: It's a Find of the Day for a couple of reasons. First, if you've seen Inside Out then you know it was an immensely creative and beautiful film where the artists created an immersive world inside the mind of Riley. From the anthropomoriphication of the emotions to the way stored memories are portrayed to the different lands Joy and Sadness journey through, the movie was groundbreakingly creative and gorgeous. (Can you tell I liked the film?) This book gives you an 'inside' look (pun intended) on the creative process and development that brought about Inside Out.

The second reason I felt this was a good Find of the Day is because I wanted to highlight the "The Art of" books that Disney and Disney•Pixar  put out. Disney creates some incredible art that is innovative, beautiful, and highly original. When they do, they always put out an "Art of" book. The Art of Zootopia can be found here. As Art/Coffiee table books go, these are not overly expensive (especially at Amazon and B&N) and they provide an extended appreciation for all of the effort the Disney and Disney•Pixar  artists put into their movies. When you watch a fast-paced movie like Zootopia or Inside Out, there is a lot to see, and it's easy to miss things when it's moving by so fast. The books allow us to appreciate not only the creative process but also many of the details we would otherwise have missed.
